The condition of 18 members of the crew of the Indian merchant vessel (Merchant Ship), Maharishi Vamadeva, which has been stopped since June last year on the Fujairah port of the UAE, is becoming worse every day. Captain of the ship told that the weight of crew members is falling rapidly, they are in tension and they have been caught by many diseases.

Fujairah Port authorities stopped the gas carrier ship, Maharishi Vamadeva, for not paying the outstanding amount allegedly by its owner Varun Global.

Krishna now worried about the remaining 18 crew members and they are all Indians. Krishna said that the health of crew members is getting worse every day. We are not being paid, there is no result to request the authorities several times.

Members of the family members and others have written to the various officials including the Indian Embassy and the Foreign Ministry in the United Arab Emirates for the purpose of intervention.
