Ducati India
has launched its new Multistrada 1260 and its premium variant 1260S bike in
India. For the premium variants, the company has priced at Rs 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom,
Delhi) for the premium model, while the company has kept the price of the
standard model at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Four
variants of Ducati Multistrada 1260 in the international market are available
for sale. Apart from the standard model, the remaining variants Multistrada
1260 S, Multistrada 1260 D-Air and Multistrada 1260 are Pikes Peak. However,
only the two models mentioned above have been launched in India.
The new
Multistrada 1260 is the most powerful bike in the company's Multistrada lineup.
It has 1262cc, L-twin, Testastretta DVT engine . This engine has been connected with 6-speed transmission. This
fuel injected engine generates a power of 158 bhp and a peak torque of 130 Nm.
Multiple
riding modes are also given in motorcycles. Talk about the electronics package,
Multistrada 1260 features such as wheel control, cruise control, ABS and
skyhook Suspension. Apart from this, this new variant has been given a colored
TFT instrument cluster and a Ducati Multimedia system.
In the
market Ducati Multistrada 1260 will be competing with Triumph Tiger 1200 and
BMW R 1200 GS in its segment.
