Portuguese
star Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid. He signed a four-year new deal for
Italian club Juventus. Ronaldo has joined Juventus from Real Madrid for a
transfer fee of 100 million Euros (about 8 billion rupees). Under this deal, Ronaldo
will get 30 million euros (about Rs 242 crore) per annum. This 33-year-old
player has made this deal after spending 9 years in Real Madrid. On Tuesday, he along with his manager met Juventus chairman Andre
Agnelly for the final details of the deal.
Ronaldo said
in an emotional letter to Real Madrid and Club Fans that I owe this club and
this city. I have spent 9 years with this club and the people here have given
me lots of love. Real Madrid is settled in the heart of me and my family
members. I would like
to thank the club, President of this club, crew, staff, doctors, and physios who
always supported me. Ronaldo wrote at the end of the letter, "Thank you to
all and yes, I would like to say the same thing that I had said before joining
this club 9 years ago, Hala Madrid!”.
Real Madrid
wrote in his official statement that the club has signed this deal on the
player's Will and Requests. Further in this statement, "Real Madrid will
always be grateful to Ronaldo. He has always proved his performance and
dedication towards the game because he is the world's best player of this club.
We wish Ronaldo best wishes for his future. '
At the end of his statement, the club wrote, "Ronaldo will always be a
symbol and ideal for the coming generation for Real Madrid. Real Madrid is
always home to Ronaldo and will remain. '
