Paytm is India's
largest digital payment app. The company continues to bring a new innovative
feature for its users. Now the company is bringing a new method of payment
again to its users.
Paytm is now
bringing an NFC based tap card which will allow you to pay in all retail
outlets without internet. All users of the Paytm Tap Card can make payments in
the areas with poor data network. Paytm has introduced this offline Payments
concept with Yeldi.com, a digital payment company, and focuses on NFC or
near-field communication. This is not the first time that Petty introduced the
offline payment concept, Earlier in 2015,
they introduced the QR code based on offline payment.
How to activate the
Paytm Tap card
This whole
process will include two factors. Paytm will
give an NFC POS terminal to the merchant, which the merchants should put in
their outlets. It will use NFC to scan the card and make payments. According to
information available on the Paytm site, this card will cost Rs. 100 and the
user will be able to order it. It is expected that Paytm will soon start
issuing such cards.
