Mozilla,
Mozilla's proprietary Firefox, is working on a voice control platform. Voice
Controlled Platform has been named Scout. Following the success of Google
Assistant, Apple Siri and Amazon Alexa, Mozilla is focusing on the fact that
voice control will play a big role in future web browsing, so the company is
working on voice control platform. However, Mozilla has made it clear that this
is an early stage project.
According to
the CNET report, through the company's Voice Based Scout platform, users will
be able to access the internet without touching the touch screen, mouse and
keyboard. Users can browse the content through their voice only. For example,
after the Hey Scout, the browser will work just like Apple Siri and Google
Assistant.
Right now
the project is in the initial stage so people may have to wait a bit for it to
come. The company said that we want to give better expirience to our users and
this is a part of our strategy in this phase. This platform of the company can
prove to be a game changer for them
