Japanese firm developing drone based flying umbrella.

An IT company from Japan developed the flying umbrella. The special thing is that in the rain, the person does not have to catch it and walk. With the help of sensor, it starts running in the direction itself, where the person is going. Therefore, in the event of holding luggage in both hands, this umbrella can be of great use.

This umbrella continues to fly on the person's head with the help of a drone. To find out which direction the person is going, there is a sensor in it. The weight of this umbrella is five kilograms, which can fly for 5 minutes at the moment. Ash Power, a telecom technology developer, has been working on this project for a long time.

The aim of the company is to use this umbrella before the Olympics and Paralympics in 2020. Kenji Suzuki, 40-year-old president of the company, said that the plan to build such umbrella was made three years ago. He believed that such an umbrella should be made which can be used even if both hands were busy.

According to the rules of civil aeronautics, the drone must be about 30 meters away from the person present in the public place or building. It is believed that in the beginning, this flying umbrella can be used at private places.

Last summer, the company had started working on creating such systems for which it could identify the user and follow the user with the help of camera and artificial intelligence in it.

According to Kenji Suzuki, this prototype has problems now. Being overweight, it does not fly long enough. If the person does not move slowly, then it does not run behind him automatically. Suzuki said that at the moment there are some problems in getting the umbrella market due to regulatory laws. But, we hope that one day it will be common to see this umbrella on the streets.
